Kîstawâw Family Treatment Program

Family and family togetherness is a core value of the Family Treatment Program (FTP). We understand that families need support in their journeys. No matter where you have been, where you are right now and where you desire to go, we believe in supporting families in finding hope, strength, and love along the way. All families have made the brave commitment to make the necessary changes to become stronger.

Group sessions: We do believe in Healing and Connection as a key component to the recovery process. As such result, we believe in bringing families together for learning and Healing. Our Family Treatment Program has many different groups offered at various times during the year. These groups are focused on recovery from addictions and trauma.

How do I get into the program as a parent? This is a fee for service program. Most families are referred by DFNA, child protection services and or a health authority. Alternatively, families can have their social workers or case manager complete the application process for them.
